Action Aid UK is sending a big thank you to their supporters who have so far pledged over £500,000 to their Pakistan flood appeal. This overwhelming show of funds has helped Action Aid’s frontline teams to reach up to 50,000 people who are desperately in need of food, medical care and shelter. Yet more work still needs to be done to help those who have yet to be reached by support teams.
As the flood water continues to spread south, roads, bridges and more importantly crops are being washed away, leaving many people without food. With your help Action Aid intend to reach up to 120,000 people in the coming months as the full devastation is being revealed across the country.
By making a charity donation, you will be giving those affected by the flooding a safe place to sleep at night, as well as much needed access to food and medicine. Your donations will give people a chance to rebuild their lives after the floods have taken away not just their homes, but also their livelihoods.
