Inline with recent changes we have moved our Facebook page to the new timeline format. Our Facebook group shares information from our 3 sites donation4charity.org, adopt an animal and charity gifts and is a great way of keeping up to date with interesting charity news from around the world.

Our team are avid Facebookers and Tweeters (too much some might say!) and like everyone we grumbled a bit about the new timeline feature on our own personal profiles. However like almost everything Zuckerberg and his crew get up to at Facebook, it’s grown on us to the point where we now love it.
Things we love about Facebook Timeline
We’ve put our Timeline live and here are some great features we’ve found, all of which you can use on your own timeline.
- Space for large cover photo at top of page.
We’ve gone with a penguin for our first timeline but will be changing it on a monthly basis. We’d like you input on what to change it to for April – Easter chicks maybe? - Making posts favourites.
By clicking on the star next to a post we can make it widescreen so you can see more information. Our recent post on a Baby Gorilla being born seems the perfect opportunity to showcase this.

One thing we don’t think we’ll be sharing with you on our timeline is our Spotify listening habits. You don’t need to see what we’re listening to – especially with the dodgy tastes some members of staff have (cough cough Barry Manilow!).
