UNICEF UK Ambassadors turned out in great numbers to support the charities first ever Twitter petition. All involved were showing their support for the latest UNICEF charity initiative ‘Children Can’t Wait’. Signing up and showing their support included –

The UK government is due to announce the results of it’s spending review on Wednesday 20th October 2010, and how it plans to distribute it’s expenditure over the next 5 years. UNICEF are petitioning to George Osborne to commit to a steady increase over the coming years to reach the promised 0.7% minimum aid target.
